Best of 2025

Team Moments, Creative Wins, and What We’re Manifesting for 2026

What a year.

2025 was a season of momentum, steady, energizing, and unmistakably Collective. We embraced bold ideas, strengthened our processes, deepened our client relationships, and elevated our creative work in every corner of the business. From dreamy installs and breakthrough design moments to full-team photoshoots and impromptu after-hours events, it was a year where the pieces aligned, and the purpose felt clear.

Instead of a traditional recap, we turned to the people who shape this place every day. We asked our team to reflect on what moved them, what challenged them, what made them proud, and what they’ll carry into the new year.

Here is the best of Collective Design, straight from the people who lived it.

Creative energy was high and fearless.

In 2025, our design work took on a new level of boldness. We welcomed the unexpected, sourced sculptural statement pieces, and pushed deeper into fully custom design. Everything felt a little more adventurous, a little more refined, and always rooted in intention.

“Working with new vendors we discovered while traveling was a highlight,” Jenna shared. “We created custom pieces for multiple clients, including a bathtub carved from a boulder. It’s still in progress, but it’s going to be so cool.”

Through all the creativity, one thing remained constant: every detail had purpose, and every decision came back to how people truly live in their homes.

“Really listening to the client’s wants and needs—and then creating something beautiful from that—was something I leaned into this year,” said Emma.

We weren’t just designing rooms. We were crafting spaces that feel personal, collected, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.

Process got sharper, smoother, and far more collaborative.

2025 was a defining year behind the scenes. We refined our systems, strengthened communication, and expanded the structure that allows creativity to thrive. The result? A process that feels clearer, calmer, and far more in sync with the way we want to work.

“Process has really been a game changer,” Emma shared. “We’ve got a lot happening across every phase of a project. Having structure lets us stay creative without getting overwhelmed.”

That clarity opened the door for deeper collaboration—earlier design conversations, faster feedback loops, and a shared rhythm across the team.

“Watching our systems mature this year has been incredibly rewarding,” Jess said. “You can feel the difference—there’s more alignment, more confidence, and more space for the team to focus on the work they do best.”

It was the year our behind-the-scenes evolution became just as exciting as what we were creating out in the world.

Team culture? Stronger than ever.

One of the highlights of the year was our full team photoshoot, a day spent in one of our completed homes, styling, laughing, and capturing who we are in a space that felt undeniably Collective. Between moments on set and a spontaneous pool hang afterward, it became a celebration of how far we’ve come and how good it feels to show up as ourselves.

“We’ve become such a solid team,” Emma shared. “Everyone is willing to help, and we handle whatever’s thrown our way—with professionalism and a lot of fun.”

This year, we stepped into new roles, discovered new strengths, and built a culture that feels as inspiring as the work itself.

“Seeing everyone step into bigger responsibilities this year, confident, excited, and growing—was such a proud moment,” Jenna said. “You could feel the momentum.”

From Denver to Montana, High Point to Las Vegas, our team traveled, explored, and brought fresh ideas back to the studio, carrying our collaborative spirit with us everywhere we went.

Big wins and proud moments

2025 brought some of our most ambitious and design-forward projects to life—installs that stretched our creativity, sharpened our craft, and expanded our sense of what’s possible.

Jenna wrapped a recent project that marked a meaningful evolution in her design voice and later joined Lisa in Montana for an expansive mountain home that continues to push us in new, exciting ways.

Grace led a full-home refresh for a hospitality client, weaving together updated lighting, revitalized finishes, and new furnishings throughout. She hopes that it becomes not only a rental success story but a beautiful example of what thoughtful design can unlock for the guest experience.

One of the year’s most meaningful milestones was completing a remarkable Breckenridge residence for a wonderful family from Mexico City—a home shaped by connection, warmth, and thoughtful detail. Emma and Robin guided this project to completion with care and precision and are now preparing for an upcoming install just outside Park City.

And in the mountains of Montana, Lisa completed her first project in the Yellowstone Club—a significant achievement and a beautiful reflection of her creative leadership. The home is anchored in quiet luxury, sculptural forms, and a sense of calm that feels perfect for the home’s setting. Seeing her vision come to life in such an iconic location was not only a proud moment for Lisa, but for our entire team. It opened the door to new partnerships, a deeper presence in the region, and an exciting chapter of Collective Design’s work in Montana.

Every milestone this year—whether a major install or a quiet behind-the-scenes breakthrough—felt like a shared step forward. Together.

Looking ahead

The energy heading into 2026 feels expansive. Our systems are in place. Our creative spark is strong. Our team is more connected than ever.

We’re ready to build on what we’ve created—not just the homes, but the culture, the process, the mindset. This past year gave us momentum. Next year is about elevation.

We asked the team to sum up the year in one word—and to share what they’re manifesting for the year ahead. Here's what rose to the top:

2025
Growth. Momentum. New beginnings.

2026
Possibility. Expansion. Elevate.

Not just words—intentions.

“When I think about 2026, I feel this deep sense of possibility—not just for the work we create, but for who we’re becoming together. This year reminded us what happens when we trust each other, when we lead with heart, when we choose courage over comfort. Next year feels like a doorway opening. I can’t wait to step through it with this team.” — Adrienne

To our clients, collaborators, and crew: thank you for being part of this journey with us. Every conversation, every creative risk, every shared win made this year unforgettable.

See you in 2026. We can’t wait to keep designing with you.
