Some projects stay with you long after installation day. Not because of the recognition that may follow, but because of the people behind them and the life created within the home.
We’re honored to share that our Shock Hill project has been named a Transitional Finalist in the 2024–2025 Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Kitchen Design Contest, selected from more than 1,500 entries worldwide.
From the earliest conversations, this home was designed around connection. Our clients wanted spaces that felt welcoming, warm, and comfortable enough for everyday living, while still carrying a strong architectural point of view. The kitchen naturally became the center of that vision. It’s where mornings begin, friends gather, meals stretch into long conversations, and everyday routines become meaningful moments.
Every detail was shaped collaboratively alongside our clients, trade partners, vendors, and design team. Materials were layered to bring warmth and depth. Contrasts were used intentionally to create balance and visual interest. Each decision was revisited and refined throughout the process until the home felt personal to the family living in it.
When Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove and Roth Living surprised Adrienne at the Sub-Zero headquarters in Denver with this recognition, it made the moment even more meaningful. What was scheduled as a simple meeting quickly became an unforgettable reminder of the relationships, collaboration, and shared vision behind every project we create together.

Being recognized alongside so many talented designers from around the world is an incredible honor, and we’re proud to represent Colorado as part of this year’s finalist group.
